Create diagrams that perfectly represent your exact stack architecture

Stack Architecture Diagram Video Overview

Click on the Create a Diagram button and give it a unique title.

• Use the Stencil on the left to drag and drop standard shapes and product logos into your workspace

• Drag and drop a shape on to your workspace
• Edit the shape using the associated toolbar on the right (including the outline, fill color, and text)

• Hover over the buttons on the corners/sides of the shape/logo to transform the object
  • Click and drag to clone the object
  • Click and drag to connect the object (note: see how to edit these lines below)
  • Click and drag to clone and connect the object in one go
  • Click to break all connections to other objects
  • Click and drag to rotate the object
    
    

• Edit the connection
  • The type, style, line thickness/style/color
  • Add/edit the source marker arrowhead
  • Edit the target marker arrowhead
  • Add labels to the connections
    
    

• Add/edit text 

Hint: To add a 'Title' text, simply add a shape, change the outline and fill color to be clear, and then edit the text

Before creating a diagram you must first add the product logos you need to your stencil

We offer a 15,000 tool library of pre-loaded logos to streamline your data flow process. Add as many products as you need to your stencil by searching our database, or using your drawers (ex. Internal Technology). 

• Use the Add to Stencil button to:
  
  • Add logos from search

• Or add logos from your drawers 
  
  
  
  
• As the number of logos in the Stencil grows you can search for the logo you need by using the Stencil search bar. 

Note: Any logos added to the Stencil are viewable by everyone in the Enterprise account. 

It's easy to give a detailed look into how your products relate using Stack Architecture Diagrams.

If you have multiple products in one category it's easy to put a object around them and show how they relate.

• Add a shape
• Drag and drop logos into the shape
• Add connecting lines
• Give the group of products a label

With Diagrams, you can also show how the different categories of technology in your stack are integrated, or related. No need for any external visualization tool. For example:

Sharing your diagram has never been easier

If you need to share your diagram you can assign it to a team, tag it as enterprise, or download it to share with those outside of your organization. 

• Save as you work so you never lose progress

• Tag as Enterprise so everyone can see it or assign to a Team so you can collaborate with others

• Download it (as either a PNG or an SVG) from your dashboard

Note: If you want to create another version of an existing diagram you can easily copy your diagram, rename it and then add/update it as needed.
